KATHMANDU: The Nepali film ‘Anjila’, which was released on Falgun 29 last year, has completed 100 days of continuous screening.
On Friday, the 100th day, it is being screened at QFX Cinema Chain’s City Square Mall in Samakhusi, Kathmandu’s Kirtipur Cineplex, Itahari’s Elite Cinema Hall, Birtamod’s Pathibhara Cineplaza, Chitwan’s Mango Janajyoti Cinema in Parsa Bazaar, and Biratnagar’s Central Multiplex.
The director of the film, Milan Chams, has expressed his gratitude to all the viewers. He still expects continuous support from the viewers. ‘Anjila’ has been ranked among the top five in the business figures of the year 2081. The producer has said that so far this film has done business of over 120 million rupees.
The film is based on the life of Angela Tumbapo Subba, the captain of the national women’s football team. Angela herself plays the lead role in it, while Dayahang Rai, Sirjana Subba, Vijay Baral, Maotse Gurung, Prem Kumar Shrestha, and others are also in the cast.
