KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign currency exchange rates applicable for Thursday.
As per the bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at Rs. 135.43 and the selling rate at Rs. 136.03. The euro is being traded at Rs. 153.95 for buying and Rs. 154.63 for selling.
Similarly, the British pound is valued at Rs. 180.80 (buying) and Rs. 181.60 (selling), while the Swiss franc stands at Rs. 164.37 and Rs. 165.09, respectively.
The Australian dollar is priced at Rs. 87.70 for buying and Rs. 88.09 for selling. The Canadian dollar is available at Rs. 98.19 and Rs. 98.63, while the Singapore dollar is set at Rs. 104.92 (buying) and Rs. 105.39 (selling).
The rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs. 9.45 (buying) and Rs. 9.49 (selling). The Chinese yuan is being exchanged at Rs. 18.74 and Rs. 18.83. The Saudi riyal is set at Rs. 36.11 for buying and Rs. 36.26 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs. 37.15 and Rs. 37.32, respectively.
Other regional currency rates include the Thai baht at Rs. 4.15 (buying) and Rs. 4.16 (selling), the UAE dirham at Rs. 36.87 and Rs. 37.04, and the Malaysian ringgit at Rs. 31.85 and Rs. 32.09.
For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is Rs. 9.73 and the selling rate is Rs. 9.78. The Swedish kronor is set at Rs. 14.11 and Rs. 14.17, and the Danish kronor at Rs. 20.63 and Rs. 20.72.
The Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs. 17.45 (buying) and Rs. 17.53 (selling). The Kuwaiti dinar is priced at Rs. 441.74 and Rs. 443.70, the Bahraini dinar at Rs. 359.20 and Rs. 360.79, and the Omani rial at Rs. 351.77 and Rs. 353.33.
Meanwhile, the rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs. 160.00 for buying and Rs. 160.15 for selling.
