KATHMANDU: Singer Pramod Kharel had been consistently seen as a coach on The Voice of Nepal since its beginning. However, he was absent in the sixth season. At that time, he had taken a break for one season.
Even in his absence, audiences continued to miss and demand his presence on the show. The sixth season of The Voice of Nepal concluded this week, and the production team is now preparing to launch the kids’ version of the show.
The blind auditions for the fourth season of The Voice Kids are scheduled to begin filming from May 20. Meanwhile, there’s good news for the audience—Pramod Kharel will be returning as a coach on The Voice Kids.
Show director Laxman Paudyal confirmed that Pramod will continue his role as a coach. “As of now, he is confirmed as one of the coaches,” said director Paudyal.
According to him, Melina Rai and Khem Century will also appear as coaches. However, the official announcement regarding the coaching panel is yet to be made. There will be one extra coach yet to be announced.
Director Paudyal has stated that children from Nepal, India, and other countries have auditioned for being a part of this year’s The Voice Kids. There will be 12 contestants on each coach’s team during blind auditions.
