Rabi Lamichhane released from jail

Kathmandu, September 9

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) president Rabi Lamichhane has been released from prison. He had been serving time at Nakkhu Jail on charges related to a cooperative fraud case.

According to RSP sources, Lamichhane was handed over to his wife, Nikita Poudel, this afternoon after police said they could no longer provide security for him.
