Rabi Lamichhane, born on September 13, 1975, in Nagarkot, Bhaktapur, Nepal, is a prominent Nepali politician, media personality, and former journalist. He rose to national fame through his investigative television programs, including Sidha Kura Janata Sanga and Sidha Kura Pradhanmantri Sanga, where he tackled corruption, bureaucracy, and public issues. Lamichhane holds experience in radio and TV both in Nepal and after moving to the United States in his early 20s for higher studies. In 2022, he founded the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), quickly emerging as a key political figure in Nepal. He has served multiple terms as Member of Parliament from Chitwan‑2 and held the positions of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister. Known for his anti-corruption stance and strong youth support, Lamichhane continues to influence Nepalese politics while navigating ongoing legal challenges.
