After a Long Wait, Teaser of Much-Awaited Bollywood Comedy ‘Housefull 5’ Released

KATHMANDU: After much anticipation, the teaser of the much-awaited Bollywood comedy film Housefull 5 has been released. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film boasts a star-studded cast.

The movie features a total of 18 stars including Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Sonam Bajwa, Nana Patekar, and Sanjay Dutt. Even a few seconds of their appearance in the teaser is enough to leave the audience in splits. The film is slated for release on June 5, 2025 (Jestha 23 in the Nepali calendar).

The teaser of Housefull 5 is 76 seconds long and showcases glimpses of all 18 characters in a short span. It promises a riot of laughter to the audience.

The movie begins in a massive vessel in the sea, with song and dance numbers on board. All the actors are introduced playing their respective characters. There is also a glimpse of a masked murderer whose face is not shown. Following the release of the teaser, fans’ excitement has reached a new high.

This time the star cast includes Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Shreyas Talpade, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, Niketan Dheer, Ranjeet, Ranjit Sharma, and Ranji Sharma, Jacqueline Fernandez.

The Housefull franchise began in 2010 with the first comedy film directed by Sajid Khan. Two years later, Housefull 2 was released, also directed by Sajid Khan. The third installment, released in 2016, was co-directed by Sajid and Farhad.

Housefull 4, released in 2019, was directed by Farhad Samji. The fifth installment is now directed by Tarun Mansukhani. The entire franchise is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

Each film in the series brings a new storyline, though the core theme remains consistent. Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Chunky Panday have appeared in every installment of the franchise.
