Former PMs Nepal and Khanal show solidarity with teachers’ protest

KATHMANDU: The ongoing teachers’ protest has received solidarity from the Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist), Madhav Nepal, and senior leader Jhalanath Khanal, who visited the protest site today.

On Monday, Nepal, Khanal, and other leaders joined the protest at Bijulibazar to show their support. The teachers’ movement, which started on Chaitra 20 (April 2), is now on its 27th day.

The protestors are demanding the implementation of the Education Act and the fulfillment of previous agreements.
