Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has launched KS Mitra, an AI-based customer support and complaint management system, with the aim of providing customers with faster, easier and more effective service.
The bank said customers can make account inquiries, banking requests and complaint-related queries through the “Ask Mitra” icon available on the bank’s official website, by email at [email protected], or directly through WhatsApp at 9851460085.
Through KS Mitra, customers can get information about the bank’s services, get account-related information and lodge complaints without visiting a branch.
The bank said customers can easily find the bank’s branches and contact numbers, its services and facilities, interest rates, service charges and other general information. According to the bank, once the customer’s identity and account details are verified, they can also obtain information including account balance, transaction details, outstanding loan amount, CRN, demat and KYC details.
Services such as blocking an account, changing the source of income or occupation, changing the mobile banking password or PIN, blocking mobile banking and checking its status will also be provided.
“If the information a customer seeks is not available through this, a ticket will be issued automatically, making it easier to follow up on and resolve the customer’s queries, service requests and complaints,” the bank said.
The bank said the facility is a new and impactful digital dimension in Nepal’s banking sector. It said KS Mitra has been brought into operation as part of its effort to expand the use of digital technology and improve the quality of customer service.
