Nepal Rastra Bank publishes today’s foreign exchange rates

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has determined the foreign exchange rates for Monday. According to the central bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has slightly decreased today and is set at NPR 138.24, while the selling rate is NPR 138.84.

The buying rate for one Euro is NPR 159.29 and the selling rate is NPR 159.98. Similarly, the buying rate for one UK Pound Sterling is NPR 185.93 and the selling rate is NPR 186.74. The buying and selling rates for one Swiss Franc are NPR 169.09 and NPR 169.82 respectively.

The Australian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 89.17 and a selling rate of NPR 89.56, while the Canadian Dollar is at NPR 100.66 for buying and NPR 101.09 for selling. The Singapore Dollar is set at NPR 107.37 for buying and NPR 107.84 for selling.

For 10 Japanese Yen, the buying rate is NPR 9.46and the selling rate is NPR 9.50. One Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 19.25 and a selling rate of NPR 19.34. The Saudi Arabian Riyal stands at NPR 36.84 for buying and NPR 37.00 for selling, and the Qatari Riyal is NPR 37.92 for buying and NPR 38.09 for selling.

According to the central bank, the Thai Baht is NPR 4.21 for buying and NPR 4.23 for selling. The UAE Dirham is NPR 37.64 for buying and NPR 37.81 for selling. The Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 32.51 and selling rate of NPR 32.64. The South Korean Won (per 100 units) is NPR 10.07,for buying and NPR 10.11 for selling. The Swedish Krona is NPR 14.30 for buying and NPR 14.36 for selling, and the Danish Krone is NPR 21.35 for buying and NPR 21.45 for selling.

The Hong Kong Dollar is priced at NPR 17.61, for buying and NPR 17.69 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar is NPR 451.54 for buying and NPR 453.50 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar is NPR 366.30 for buying and NPR367.89 for selling, while the Omani Riyal is NPR 359.05 for buying and NPR 360.61 for selling.

The buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been fixed at NPR 160.00 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15. The central bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to revision at any time as necessary.
