Standard Chartered Bank announces dividend

Kathmandu, October 27

Standard Chartered Bank has announced a dividend for its shareholders.

The bank’s board of directors has decided to give shareholders a cash dividend of 16 percent of paid-up capital.

The bank said the dividend will be distributed after approval from the central bank (Nepal Rastra Bank) and passage by the upcoming annual general meeting. The bank has not yet fixed a date for the meeting. Last year, the bank paid a 19 percent cash dividend.
