Teaser of Upcoming Action Film Balidan Released on YouTube

KATHMANDU: The teaser of the highly anticipated action film Balidan, set to release during the Phulpati of Dashain, has officially been unveiled on YouTube. The teaser was launched on Wednesday to mark the birthday of actor Samir Bhatt, who plays the lead role in the film.

Packed with high-octane action scenes, the teaser establishes the protagonist’s character, his emotional depth, and his psychological journey. It also features a heartfelt narration that fills one with patriotism.
The voiceover says:

“The nation’s concern. The soil seeks the one… the one born to a mother, the one whose blood boils. I am the brave son who will never let this nation’s pride bow, who feels the pain of a mother and carries the honor of this country.”
The teaser ends with Bhatt’s powerful and furious scream, heightening the dramatic intensity of the scene.

Director Santosh Sen remarked that Samir possesses all the qualities of a skilled actor and performer. He added,
“Balidan brings out all of those aspects.” Sen also revealed that the teaser will be released in a series of segments.
Following his debut in the 2081 BS action film 12 Gaun, Balidan marks Samir Bhatt’s second feature film and is generating significant buzz.

The movie also features an ensemble cast including Saugat Malla, Arpan Thapa, Richa Sharma, Kavita Raya, Hemant Budhathoki, and Prem Puri. Produced under the banner of Asusen Films Pvt. Ltd., the film is presented by Pawan Bradford Bista, with Prem Puri serving as the executive producer.
