Kathmandu. The sudden flood in the Bhotekoshi River on Wednesday morning has damaged six early warning systems used to monitor river conditions in Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading, disrupting the automatic flow of real-time data from the affected locations.
According to the Flood Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, four early warning systems in Rasuwa and one each in Nuwakot and Dhading were swept away or damaged by the flood.
